Got a Dream? Now Make a Decision.

I had a hard time deciding how I wanted to spend my life. I tried several different occupations, was successful, but not satisfied. As I was going to bed one evening, I prayed that God might speak to me in my sleep, and I confessed that my days are filled with the noise of the world, and I thought sleep would offer the best chance to hear from God.

That night I dreamed that I was preaching and reaching out to people of the gospel message of life and hope.

I wasn’t prepared for this message, but we should answer that call when God calls you. My eyes were open to a vision for my life.

If I had not acted upon the message in my dream, God would still love me, but God’s vision for me would have been worthless if I did not take the next step.

I made the decision to follow God’s call. I took the next step in making my decision.

I read somewhere that it’s easier to make a fast decision than a good decision. It takes nothing at all to make a quick decision. It takes a lot of wisdom to make a right decision.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
