Our Program

Arborlawn Children’s Academy is a school readiness program honoring children’s natural curiosity and creativity through play and thoughtfully curated learning experiences. Our teachers provide a nurturing and caring environment where children build strong relationships with teachers and peers. We adhere to developmentally appropriate practices, facilitating the development of the whole child.

CURRICULUM

Arborlawn Children’s Academy uses Frog Street Curriculum, a research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. Weekly thematic units integrate literacy, language, math, and science. Children’s learning needs are met through both small and large group instruction. Our small class sizes ensure that each child receives individual attention.

We prepare children to be successful in a group environment through developing strong social-emotional skills using the principles of Conscious Discipline.

Children learn about God through weekly chapel lessons.

Enrichment

All of our classes participate in weekly music enrichment with our music teacher. Two-year-old children through 4- year-olds receive Spanish enrichment each week, and the three and four-year-olds also participate in a special science lesson and experiment once a week.
